James and Charlotte's wedding was a beautiful autumn celebration, full of warmth, colour, and a wonderfully laid-back atmosphere - the kind of day that feels effortless and completely true to them.
The morning began at Oddfellows On The Park in Cheadle Hulme, where Charlotte got ready with her closest friends and family. Outside, the trees were a gorgeous hue of burnt orange and golden leaves, a perfect seasonal backdrop. Inside, the room was equal parts excitement, laughter, and those quiet, emotional moments that make wedding mornings so special.

Charlotte looked stunning, and her bridesmaids wore rich green dresses that worked beautifully against the autumn tones.

James and Charlotte opted for a second photographer for extra coverage as well as a highlight film so whilst we were capturing the girls, James was doing his thing with the boys.

From there, we travelled by taxi to Stockport Town Hall, where Charlotte and James exchanged their vows.

The ceremony was heartfelt and relaxed, surrounded by the people who matter most to them. James and his groomsmen looked effortlessly stylish in brown wool-blend tweed, a choice that felt perfectly suited to the season.

The couple’s bright dried florals tied everything together beautifully. The warm, vibrant tones of the flowers stood out against the green bridesmaid dresses and the tweed suits, while also echoing the orange leaves outside — autumn colour palette perfection.

Before heading on to the celebrations, we took a short walk to a nearby park for Charlotte and James’ couple shoot. With the trees glowing in shades of amber and rust, the setting couldn’t have been more fitting. These moments together were relaxed and natural - a chance for them to slow down, enjoy being newly married, and soak in the day while I captured some genuine, timeless portraits.

The celebrations continued at The Red Lion in Cheadle, where the couple hosted a truly laid-back evening. Instead of traditional speeches, Charlotte and James chose to personally thank their guests with a round of baby Guinness's.

Entertainment for the night was provided by Tom Finkle Wedding Entertainer, keeping the atmosphere light, fun, and full of energy.

Food was served buffet-style, allowing guests to help themselves and relax- no rigid schedules, just great food, good company, and a brilliant party to finish the day.
Charlotte and James’ wedding was a perfect example of how embracing the season, your personal style, and what matters most creates a day that feels effortlessly special.
